IBF Standards Training Scheme (IBF-STS)
A programme accredited under the IBF Standards is eligible for funding under the IBF Standards Training Scheme (IBF-STS), subject to all eligibility criteria being met. Candidates are advised to assess the suitability of the programme and its relevance to participants’ business activities or job roles.

Financial Training Scheme (FTS)
A programme recognised under the Financial Training Scheme (FTS) and is eligible for FTS claims is subject to all eligibility criteria being met. This in no way represents an endorsement of the quality of the training provider and programme and participants are advised to assess the suitability of the programme and its relevance to participants’ business activities or job roles.
The FTS is available to eligible entities based on the prevalent funding eligibility, quantum and caps. FTS claims may only be made for recognised programmes with specified validity period. Please refer to www.ibf.org.sg for more information.

Gordon Aw
MBAGordon Aw is an entrepreneur whose career spans technology, finance and corporate consulting. He is also a trainer with over 25 years of experience. His consulting has extensive reach bridging organizational development, financial advisory, and technology. His career began in the IT sector with Apple Computers Singapore, followed by a 12-year tenure in executive management within the non-profit sector. He later transitioned into high-level consulting, serving as a senior consultant for a regional firm and establishing his own practice in corporate training and financial technology.
In the financial services sector, Gordon has provided extensive consultancy and training for a diverse portfolio of major institutions. His track record includes equipping teams at global private banks, commercial banks, and leading insurance firms with advanced strategies in client relationship management and service excellence. Beyond training, he has acted as a consultant to executives, advising on organizational design and change management to drive business transformation. His expertise also encompasses the strategic implementation of client management technologies to enhance B2B service delivery and operational efficiency.
Gordon’s advisory experience extends to capital markets and corporate finance. Through FHL Capital and his own consultancy, he has advised High Net Worth (HNW) clients on equity portfolios and secured trade finance lines for corporate customers. He has consulted on significant corporate exercises, including assessment and M&A for companies in Indonesia and Singapore, and supported the IPO of a company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).
As an educator, Gordon was a subject matter expert for the early development of the Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) competency framework. On a global scale, he served as the Competency Framework Architect for the King Faisal Hospital in Saudi Arabia for over five years. He is a certified NLP Practitioner and a certified behavioural consultant in tools such as the DiSC© Personal Profile System and Taylor Johnson Temperament Tests.
Gordon holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Hull, England, and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Theology from Trinity Theological College.
